Orientee is a Bakery and Café passionate about natural good food. All our bread is produced through a slow fermented artisan method; made on site, by our bakers working through the night.
The benefits of natural artisan bread are from the slow forming of gluten bonds (in the flour) meaning simpler bonds. Artisan bread increases the efficiency of carbohydrase acting as a catalyst in the gut, this means it helps break down the simple bonds in the digestive tube which are readily absorbed by the gut - thus a healthy gut means a healthy body.
All our bakers graduated from the School of Artisan Food class of 2018 and have a budding ambition to use their skills and creativity through baked goods, by combining oriental and classical baking.
